I visited Paris twice in 2015. Each time I boarded the Eurostar it was to head to a city in shock, first reeling from the Charlie Hebdo attacks and then wounded by the November 13 shootings.
I was on the ground all day and night both times, tweeting and posting Vines while working on 2-3 stories daily and it was an intense time.
I spoke to many people on those two trips: students, newspaper sellers, locals and tourists, all wondering what future their city held.
Some highlights from the trips:
- Resilience following the Charlie Hebdo attack
- The moving solidarity march the following Sunday
- They spill blood; we give blood
- Covering terror in a city I love
